PRO-06 Dimebag Darrell

About this lesson plan

This lesson focuses on a how Dimebag Darrell would use chromatic notes, repeating patterns and the diminished fifth interval in his lead playing. The examples focus on runs to give the student a few different angles on the same approach. By the end of the lesson the student will understand how to create their own similar licks suitable for metal soloing. The examples can be challenging and are meant to be played at a high tempo so would only be suitable for intermediate to advanced students.

The Teacher's Guide will explain each lick and give you a blueprint you can use for your lesson.
