TEC-11 String Skipping

About this lesson

This lesson introduces string skipping to your student. The purpose of the lesson is to get your student feeling comfortable with string skipping in a variety of different contexts. This means the student will learn how string skipping is used with chords, scale runs, arpeggios and using different picking techniques.

The included Teacher's Guide will explain how to use these exercises and make it easier for your student to pick up the technique. It's recommended that the student practice these exercises with all picking techniques such as alternate, all down, all up, economy, etc. as this will improve their confidence.
